What R01 means
The receiving bank found the account, but the available balance would not cover the debit entry. This is the single most common ACH return, and it is purely a debit-side outcome: it describes money that could not be pulled out of an account.
What to do next
The originator normally re-presents the debit, subject to the reinitiation limits in the Nacha rules — an entry returned R01 may be reinitiated at most twice, and only within 180 days of the original entry. Waiting a few business days before the first retry gives the balance time to recover. Do not re-send indefinitely; repeated returns attract scrutiny from your bank.

No. This generator writes ACH credits only — money leaving your account — and R01describes a debit being pulled from someone else's account. If you received R01, it came from a debit originated elsewhere. See supported formats for what the generator does and does not produce.
